Top Notch Homes was founded by co-Directors Mark Lyes and Kim Glover, who met whilst undertaking a 12 month property investor mastermind course during 2017/18.
Our principal strategy is to build a portfolio of HMOs (houses of multiple occupation) to produce a steady income stream, as well as capital growth in the longer term.
We provide high quality accommodation for working tenants, producing great returns for the business and investor partners, predominantly in the South West (Bridgwater to Plymouth).
We also seize other opportunities where there are significant returns.
MARK LYES
Mark has been investing in property for around 10 years. Now working full time in property, he previously worked as a Regional Sales Manager in the agricultural machinery industry for 10 years responsible for a book of business of c£5m. Mark has a proven track record for building businesses, having previously run his own business as an agricultural contractor, employing a small team covering the Blackdown Hills. He is an active member in his local church, involved in the running of a local youth group and supports childrens’ and educational charities in Romania and Africa.
KIM GLOVER
Kim first invested in property in 2006, and built a portfolio of single lets. She now works full time in property, having had a successful career as an Executive Assistant at a large regional law firm spanning more than 22 years. She ran a highly regarded professional networking organisation for 7 years, and was recognised as one of Exeter’s Top 100 most influential women (Grow Exeter). She also received a ‘Rising Star’ award from London based WeAreTheCity. Having been a Trustee for an Arts & Community venue, she is an Ambassador for a charity helping young people progress to employment.
